Government has appointed Assistant Commissioner, Kolar as Administrator of CMC, Robertsonpet, KGF in wide Notification No. UDD 44 MLR 2013, Dated 18-02-2013. As per the Orders IISHA PARVEEN, Assistant Commissioner of Kolar subdivision, Kolar has taken the charge on 01-03-2013 as Administrator of CMC, Robertsonpet, KGF. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಆದೇಶ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ನಅಇ 44 ಎಂಎಲ್ಆರ್ 2013, ದಿ: 18-02-2013 ರಂತೆ ಕೋಲಾರ ಉಪವಿಭಾಗಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ಸನ್ಪೇಟೆ ನಗರಸಭೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕಮಾಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಆದೇಶದನ್ವಯ ಅಯಿಷಾ ಪರ್ವೀನ್, ಸಹಾಯಕ ಉಪವಿಬಾಗಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಕೋಲಾರ ರವರು ದಿನಾಂಕ: 01-03-2013 ರಂದು ನಗರಸಭೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. |

ನಗರಸಭೆ ಕುರಿತು:ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ಸನ್ಪೇಟೆ, ಕೆ.ಜಿ.ಎಫ್ ನಗರವು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕೋಲಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬಂಗಾರಪೇಟೆ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ನಗರಾಡಳಿತವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ಸನ್ಪೇಟೆ ನಗರಸಭೆಯು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.ಈ ನಗರಸಭೆಯು 1964ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡದಾದ-ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ನಗರ ಸಭೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತೆ. ಇದರ ವಿಸ್ತೀರ್ಣ ಸರಿ ಸುಮಾರು 58.12ಚದರ ಕಿ.ಮೀ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದು ಇದರ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 2001ರ ಜನಗಣತಿಯಂತೆ 141424 ರಷ್ಟಿದೆ. ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ಸನ್ಪೇಟೆ, ಆಂಡ್ರಸನ್ಪೇಟೆ, ಉರಿಗಾಂಪೇಟೆ, ಪೊಟ್ಟೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಲೋವರ್ ಮಸ್ಕಂ, ಗೋಣಮಾಕನಹಳ್ಳಿ,ಗೊಲ್ಲಹಳ್ಳಿ ಮುಂತಾದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಗಣಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶವು ಮತ್ತು ಬಿ.ಇ.ಎಂ.ಎಲ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳು ನಗರಸಭೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಒಳಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಗರಸಭೆ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. |

ಇತಿಹಾಸ:1964ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪುರಸಭೆ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಗಣಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ಇತರ ವಸತಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪುರಸಭೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಅಳವಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು,ಗಣಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಮೊದಲು ಇದ್ದ ಸ್ಯಾನಿಟರಿಬೋರ್ಡ ಮಂದುವರಿಸಿತು.1983ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಲ್ದರ್ಜೆಗೆ ಏರಿಸಿ ನಗರಸಭೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.1996ರಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣಿಪ್ರದೇಶ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿ.ಇ.ಎಂ.ಎಲ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ನಗರಸಭೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 35 ವಾರ್ಡ್ಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು 35ಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಯಾನಿಟರಿ ಬೋರ್ಡ್ 2000ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರಸಭೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಲಿನವಾಯಿತು. ಈಗ ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ಸನ್ಪೇಟೆ, ಕೆ.ಜಿ.ಎಫ್ ನಗರಸಭೆಯು ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. |
| About Municipality: The Robertsonpet, Kolar Gold Field (KGF) is situated in the southern parts of Bangarpet Taluk in Kolar District, Karnataka State. CMC, Robertsonpet, KGF is handling the administration of the city. CMC, Robertsonpet is the biggest municipality among the district, which occupies 58.12 Sq. Km of area, with Population 141424 as per 2001 census. CMC, Robertsonpet, KGF extending its Fundamental, Developmental and Socio-Economical services to Robertsonpet, Andersonpet, Oorigaumpet, Pottenahalli, Lower Muskam, Gonamakanahalli, Gollahalli and other areas along with BGML (Mining)and BEML areas comes under the CMC limits. |
| History: Robertsonpet Town Municipal Council was constituted under section 9 of Karnataka Municipal Act 1964. In the year 1983 Town Municipal Council is upgraded to City Municipal Council. The BGML mining area which was previously handling by Sanitary Board and BEML areas were brought under the CMC limits in the year 1996. Sanitary Board was merged with CMC in the year 2000. |
